21. TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF RETIRING K-9 - STRYKER Approve the transfer of ownership of retiring K-9, Stryker, #143, to Detention Officer Jambor , SN #B1489. Stryker has served MCSO the past six years in the SWAT division with exceptional dedication and valor throughout his career within the jail system. Stryker has conducted hundreds of deterrent actions, apprehension, and narcotic sniffs, showcasing his skills, training, and unwavering commitment to public safety to countless individuals with County of Maricopa/State of Arizona. Stryker is more than 9-years-old and has recently experienced a mild seizure and is ready to be retired from service. Officer Jambor has created a strong bond with Stryker over the years as his handler/partner and will accept full care and financial responsibility for Stryker upon adoption and will be asked to sign the Canine Release and Indemnification.
