IGA WITH CITY OF TEMPE FOR SWORN BASIC TRAINING ACADEMY Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and City of Tempe (Tempe) regarding the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Sworn Basic Training Academy. This Agreement allows Tempe Police Department law enforcement recruits to participate in scheduled MCSO Sworn Basic Training Academies at a cost of $750 per registrant. The term retroactively effective April 1, 2024, and when signed by all parties through March 31, 2026, plus two, one-year automatic renewals. (C-50-24-186-X-00)

35. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH CITY OF TEMPE FOR MARICOPA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SWORN BASIC TRAINING ACADEMY Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with City of Tempe for Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Sworn Basic Training Academy. The original IGA was approved by the Board on May 22, 2024, C-50-24-186-X-00. This amendment is to increase cost of registration for each recruit registered from $750 to $1,500 effective July 1, 2026, through March 31, 2028. There is no change in overall terms and conditions from Initial Agreement. (C-50-24-186-X-01)
