101. IGA WITH THE CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO CAMELBACK ROAD FROM 145TH AVENUE TO DYSART ROAD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County (County) and the City of Litchfield Park (City) for improvements to Camelback Road from 145th Avenue to Dysart. Under this Intergovernmental Agreement, the City will act as the lead agency for all aspects of the design and construction of the Project. The City has plans to improve Camelback Road from 145th Avenue to Dysart Road to four through lanes, bike lanes, turn lanes, raised landscaped median, sidewalk, curb and gutter, streetlights, and improved drainage facilities. The County will have a financial contribution in an amount not to exceed of $3,511,000. The funds are budgeted in FY2022 Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) Five Year Program in the Transportation System Management Project, sub-project TT0707. Construction is planned for fiscal years 2022 and 2023. The terms of the agreement are in effect as of the Board of Supervisors approval and shall remain in full force and effect until all stipulations have been satisfied, except that it may be amended upon written agreement by all parties. 64. IGA WITH CITY OF LITCHFIELD PARK FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DRAINAGE CHANNEL ON CAMELBACK ROAD Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Litchfield Park to assume full responsibility for the maintenance and operations of the drainage channel adjacent to Camelback Road from 145th Drive to 127th Avenue. On December 8, 2021, Maricopa County and Litchfield Park entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (C-64-22-096-X-00) for the Improvements and Annexation of Camelback Road from the 145th Drive Alignment to 127th Avenue. Litchfield Park’s annexation of the Project (Ordinance 22-257) unintentionally encroached into the City of Glendale’s 10’ Strip Annexation. Litchfield Park and Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved Ordinance 22-262, correcting the encroachment, and revised Litchfield Park’s jurisdictional boundary, not to include Glendale’s strip annexation. The approval of this Agreement will establish maintenance and operations of the drainage channel not currently annexed into Litchfield Park. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-64-24-024-X-00)
