58. IGA WITH CITY OF SAFFORD FOR THE SALE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the City of Safford for the Sale of Traffic Signal Equipment. The City of Safford is constructing the widening of 20th Avenue from Relation Street to Golf Course Road from the current width of three lanes to five lanes. This project will include an underground storm drain system, curbs, and gutters, widening of the concrete crossing at the Highline Canal, sidewalks, traffic signals, and new pavement in partnership with the Arizona Department of Transportation. The City is requesting assistance in the procurement of traffic signal parts and equipment for the City’s Project as there are long lead times for the items. In a partnering effort, the County has the items available and will sell parts and equipment for the City’s Project at a cost, as shown in Exhibit A.
