72. AGREEMENT WITH MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS FOR SERVICES RELATED TO THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM Approve the Joint Agency Agreement between the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and Maricopa County, to be administered by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) for services related to the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Program (EVCIP) Grant. The grant does not fulfill a mandated service. One-time Grant Funding Opportunity No. 24-EVCIPSP-MMA, Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Program (EVCIP). This Grant funds a Planning Level study to determine potential locations for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations along/adjacent to the MCDOT owned roadways, identify initial investment, and calculate future maintenance and operational costs. This grant does not include any funding for design or construction of any infrastructure. This was a competitively awarded grant. MCDOT will be a subrecipient of grant funds and will administer its own procurement and consultant selection. The estimated cost of the EVCIP Siting Plan (Plan) is $200,000 not including staff time. The EVCIP award is $100,000. Total projected cost to MCDOT is $100,000, not including unrecoverable indirect cost of 36.80% or $36,800, which will be provided from the previously approved operating budget.
