67. CONTRACT WITH HDR ENGINEERING, INC. FOR ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES (Supervisorial District 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) Approve Contract No. 2026-017 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for On-Call Professional Engineering Services for various design and post design services for MCDOT TIP (Transportation Improvement Program) projects. This contract shall be effective for a period of one thousand and ninety-five (1095) calendar days, with two (2) one-year renewal options, or the expenditure of three million dollars ($3,000,000.00), whichever occurs first. A range of design support and project management services are anticipated under this On-Call Professional Engineering and Design Services contract within the scoping, design, and construction phase of project delivery. The Consultant will provide professional services in the area of: roadway plan and profile drawings; preparation of cost estimate quantity takeoffs; preparation of project specifications; preparation of preliminary design or scoping documents; provide post-design services; technical memorandums; design of intersection improvements; pavement rehabilitation; design of highway structures (box culverts, headwalls, retaining walls, bridges, scour protection); Value Engineering; and economic analysis. A detailed scope of work will be included for each work assignment for every project phase.
