86. IGA WITH VALLEY METRO RAIL, INC. FOR THE (TE088) CONNECTED VEHICLE ACCELERATION ZONE PROJECT (Supervisorial Districts: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County and Valley Metro to deploy interoperable Connected Vehicle (CV) and Vehicle to Everything (V2X) technologies within the County as part of the Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone (Project). The Project seeks to enable vehicular communication with each other, other road users and roadside infrastructure. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date it is executed by all the governing bodies of the Parties and shall remain in full force and effect until all stipulations previously indicated have been satisfied. This Agreement may be amended only upon written agreement by all Parties. The Project is funded from local funds and through a federal grant award. The County will act as Lead agency for planning, design, procurement, construction and construction management for the Project. Valley Metro will coordinate with the County during the installation process as an in-kind contribution. All vehicles in the program will be public vehicles, emergency vehicles, and transit vehicles. All data is anonymous, all "IDs" used in the system are system-generated and don't tie back to license plates, vehicle identification numbers or other identifiable information. The program is not collecting license plate data, videos, or photos, or any other personally identifiable data. (C-64-26-160-X-00)
