95. RESOLUTION FOR GRAND AVENUE, OLIVE AVENUE, AND 75TH AVENUE REGIONAL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Adopt Resolution FCD 2024R003 for Grand Avenue, Olive Avenue, and 75th Avenue Regional Drainage Improvements Project (PROJECT), authorizing the Director of the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (District) to include funds for Project implementation in the District’s current and future Five-Year Capital Improvement Program; to negotiate and prepare Intergovernmental Agreements for cost sharing, rights-of-way acquisition, design, construction, construction management and future operation and maintenance of the Project; to advertise, select, negotiate, and award contracts for Project engineering and construction services as appropriate. The Grand Avenue, Olive Avenue, and 75th Avenue Regional Drainage Improvements project area is located within the City of Peoria (CITY). The PROJECT is intended to mitigate the flood hazards in the southwest corner of the intersection of Grand Avenue, Olive Avenue, and 75th Avenue. The area was the subject of the Glendale/Peoria Area Drainage Master Plan (GPADMP) prepared in November 2011. The GPADMP was used as the basis for the Peoria Storm Drain Master Plan prepared in 2014 which took a closer look at the existing storm drain system and made improvement recommendations to mitigate the flood hazards in the southwest corner of the intersection of Grand Avenue, Olive Avenue, and 75th Avenue. The estimated cost for this Project is $7,706,000 and the PROJECT cost will be shared between the DISTRICT and the CITY. This Agenda Item impacts Supervisorial District 4. (C-69-24-071-X-00)
