97. DECLARE/SELL EXCESS PARCEL FCD A-14043A-1 Pursuant to A.R.S. §48-3603(I), the Flood Control District requests the Board of Directors to approve the sale of FCD Parcel A-14043A-1 and authorize the Chairman of the Board to execute the Special Warranty Deed and Purchase Agreement conveying real property to the Quinn Enterprises, L.P. Parcel information: 1. Southwest corner of W. Southern Ave. and S. Dysart Rd. Maricopa County, AZ 2. Assessor Parcel Number – 500-78-001K 3. FCD Parcel# A-14043A-1 – +/- 42.7042 AC or +/- 1,860,197 SF 4. Parcel Zoned – RU-43, Maricopa County, AZ The District utilizes its Disposition Program on all excess properties to evaluate them for the best potential of sales or leasing, depending on current market conditions. This parcel was acquired as part of the Agua Fria River Channel. Per discussions between District staff the District is retaining a 16’ wide portion along the western property line of the parcel in fee for access and maintenance purposes. The District is also retaining a flowage easement over the entirety of the portion to be sold. The property is being sold to Quinn Enterprises, L.P. This item is located in Supervisory District #5.
