33. 210014-CMR, BROADWAY ROAD BRIDGES AT TEMPE CANAL (PHASE II) Approve the Phase II Construction Services Contract GMP 1 at an estimate of $998,485.69 with an estimated construction completion date of 545 days from the official notice to proceed. The purpose of the contract is to provide construction manager at risk construction services to build the Broadway Road Bridges over the Tempe Canal near the Tempe/Mesa border for the County’s Transportation Department. This CMAR GMP #1 includes fabrication, storage, and installation of the precast, prestressed, concrete bridge members. Additionally, this GMP #1 is to ensure that the concrete girders are ready to set when the bridge construction is complete. GMP #2 will be approved at a later date for the complete construction of the bridge and roadway improvements. (C-73-23-085-X-00)
