29. APPOINT SUPERIOR COURT COMMISSIONERS AS SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE PRO TEMPORE The Superior Court respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the appointment of Court Commissioners as Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 12-141. The appointment will be for the period commencing July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026. In order to obtain greater flexibility in the use of Court Commissioners, the Superior Court customarily has all Court Commissioners appointed as Superior Court Judges Pro Tempore so they may, on occasion, hear contested matters. This serves the interest of judicial economy and promotes sound caseflow management. The attached list of Court Commissioners will serve as a Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore without any additional compensation other than that to which she is entitled to as a Court Commissioner.
