29. APPOINT SUPERIOR COURT COMMISSIONER SAVITA I. KASTURI AS SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE PRO TEMPORE The Superior Court respectfully requests the Board of Supervisors approve the appointment of Court Commissioner Savita I. Kasturi Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes § 12-141. The appointment will be for the period commencing May 26, 2026 through June 30, 2026 & July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. In order to obtain greater flexibility in the use of Court Commissioners, the Superior Court customarily has all Court Commissioners appointed as Superior Court Judges Pro Tempore so they may, on occasion, hear contested matters. This serves the interest of judicial economy and promotes sound caseflow management. Court Commissioner Savita I. Kasturi will serve as a Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore without any additional compensation other than that to which she is entitled to as a Court Commissioner. (C-80-26-012-X-00)
