25. CONTRACT WITH THE ARIZONA ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES CONSORTIUM FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES Approve a Public Health Contract #PH RFP 220159, between Maricopa County (County), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and The Arizona Adverse Childhood Experiences Consortium, (“Contractor”) for services related to Community Support for Adverse Childhood Experiences (Ace’s). This contract was procured pursuant to MC1-329 of Maricopa County Procurement Code. The term of the contract is two (2) years, beginning retroactively on the 1st day of January 2022 and ending the 31st day of December 2023. The budget for the requested service is $1,000,000 annually for a combined total budget of $2,000,000. The County may, at its option and with the agreement of the Contractor, renew the term of this Contract for additional terms up to a maximum of three (3) additional years, (or at the County’s sole discretion, extend the contract on a month-to-month bases for a maximum of six (6) months after expiration). AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH THE ARIZONA ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES CONSORTIUM FOR THE EXPANDED TRAINING FOR THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES Pursuant to MC1-329, approve an Amendment 1 to Public Health Contract #PH RFP 220159 between Maricopa County (County), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and The Arizona Adverse Childhood Experiences Consortium, ("Contractor'') for expanded training related to Community Support for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s). The amendment extends the term date from December 31, 2023 to December 31, 2024. It also increases the total not-to-exceed budget by $1,333,588, increasing the total not-to-exceed amount to $3,333,588. This amendment will be funded by ARPA funds and these were approved on the 6/8/2022 BOS agenda as a COVID-19 related award. The expanded training includes hosting over 180 trauma awareness school-based training programs, 100 youth trauma education programs, 50 single-session administrative trauma education programs, and 15 community organization trauma awareness education programs, at more than 120 sites across Maricopa County. The amendment also includes expansion of the Youth Mental Health First Aid training and solidifies partners for training programs. (C-86-22-085-X-01)

50. AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH THE ARIZONA ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES CONSORTIUM FOR EXPANDED TRAINING AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES Pursuant to MC1-329, approve an Amendment 2 to Public Health Contract #PH RFP 220159 between Maricopa County (County), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and The Arizona Adverse Childhood Experiences Consortium, ("Contractor'') for expanded training related to Community Support for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s). This amendment extends the term date from December 31, 2024, to June 30, 2025. No additional funds are being added and the total not to exceed remains unchanged at $3,333,588. Terms and Conditions have been updated to include two newly required clauses: WRITTEN CERTIFICATION PURSUANT to A.R.S. § 35-393.01 and WRITTEN CERTIFICATION PURSUANT to A.R.S. § 35-394. This amendment is funded by ARPA funds that were approved on the 6/08/2022 BOS agenda as a COVID-19 related award. (C-86-22-085-X-02)
