62. RFP CONTRACT FOR NALOXONE PHARMACY DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM Pursuant to MC1-329 of the Maricopa County Procurement Code, authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute a Public Health Request for Proposal (PH RFP) contract, in a form approved by the County Attorney’s Office, to the successful bidder in response to PH RFP 230144, Naloxone Pharmacy Distribution Program. The RFP was released on February 25, 2023, and responses were due by 2:00pm on March 24, 2023. A Public Health Evaluation Committee will review all responses received utilizing evaluation criteria included in the RFP and select those most advantageous to Maricopa County. The anticipated amount to be spent is approximately $1M. The anticipated start date of the contract is May 01, 2023 and will end December 31, 2024. If additional funds become available, awards resulting from this solicitation may be amended and/or extended based on the need for continuous services as well as satisfactory Contractor performance. These agreements will be funded through the American Rescue Plan grant. Should the funding source cease and alternate funding not be available, Section 4.0 of the RFP, Availability of Funds, will apply allowing for a change or termination of the agreement. CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH ARIZONA PHARMACY ASSOCIATION Approve Contract Amendment 1 to PH RFP 230144 between Maricopa County by and through the Department of Public Health and Arizona Pharmacy Association. This amendment shall update the term expiration date to December 31, 2026, adding $500,000 for the additional two (2) years, making the revised not to exceed (NTE) $1,496,345 and includes an updated Exhibit B, Timeline & Deliverables as shown on page two (2) of the amendment. This amendment shall add $89,802 making the revised not to exceed (NTE) $1,586,147 and includes an updated Exhibit A, Pricing, as shown on page two (2) of the amendment.
