60. ADDITION OF VEHICLE TO MARICOPA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FLEET Approve the permanent addition of one vehicle to the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) Fleet. The Office of Vital Registration (OVR) is requesting to add one fleet vehicle to allow for the ever-demanding need of onsite field training of its various partners and stakeholders who share a mandated role in the vital records process. OVR requests the new purchase of a mid-size sedan. The approximate cost of the vehicle is $32,584.04. It will be garaged at the Maricopa County Office of Vital Registration-Central Valley, 3221 N. 16th St., 100, Phoenix, AZ 85016. The OVR uses vehicles to sustain its field programs that support hundreds of funeral establishments, licensed healthcare facilities and educational institution’s training and compl iance needs within the County and with the State of Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). The Development and Compliance team will utilize the vehicle daily to support the OVR’s five office locations to meet OVR’s mandated functions by ensuring co mpliance, maintain quality controls and ensure that staff, partners and stakeholders deliver excellent customer service to Maricopa County residents.
