48. IGA WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX FOR HEAT RELIEF SERVICES Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Phoenix, Arizona, and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide grant funding for Heat Relief services. The purpose of this Agreement is to allow MCDPH to provide funding to the City of Phoenix, AZ, to increase access to heat relief in locations in Phoenix. This funding will increase the number of Heat Relief Centers and expand heat relief center hours of operation to 7 days per week during high heat hours. The Heat Relief Centers shall meet basic needs by ensuring air-conditioned space, hydration, and food are available to allow people to recover from heat exposure. The not-to-exceed amount is $1,538,898 for the budget period April 01, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The contract term is January 01, 2024, through December 31, 2026. (C-86-24-168-X-00)

82. AMEND IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX Approve Amendment 1 by and through the Maricopa Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and the City of Phoenix for Heat Relief. I. The above-named contract is hereby amended as specified below: A. Pursuant to Section 3.4. Allowable Expenses Beyond the Minimum Standards Set Forth in Sections 3.1-3.3, the Agreement hereby allows shift differentials, overtime, and incentive pay to staff cooling and respite centers supported by this agreement as an allowable expense. B. The Budget Schedule in Section 6 has been replaced as shown in Appendix 1. II. All other terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in full force and effect. (C-86-24-168-X-01)

80. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH THE CITY OF PHOENIX FOR HEAT RELIEF SERVICES Approve retroactive Amendment No. 2 to Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Phoenix, Arizona, and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide grant funding for Heat Relief services. The not-to-exceed amount is $1,109,111 for both the budget period April 01, 2025, through December 31, 2025, and the budget period April 01, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The contract term is April 01, 2024, through December 31, 2026. I. The above-named IGA is hereby amended as specified on attached Amendment No. 2 contract. Revise Section Ill, 3.
