44. CONTRACTS FOR SUBSTANCE USE PREVENTION & RESPONSE INTERVENTIONS BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY BY AND THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH Approve the following contracts for PH RFP 250031 Substance Use Prevention & Response Interventions between Maricopa County by and through the Department of Public Health. The contractors and award amount (not to exceed) are listed as follows: Peer Solutions $299,008, Neighborhood Ministries $151,786, LifeLab Studios $206,845, Community Medical Services $250,000, DynamiCare Health $298,145, Scottsdale MAT Clinic $299,793, notMYkid $130,084, Social Spin Foundation $396,264, South Mountain Works $88,462, University of Arizona $500,000, Valle del Sol $500,000, Axiom Community $236,164, Maggie’s Place $227,618, Phoenix Rescue Mission $306,409, Sage Counseling $98,698, Scottsdale Recovery $232,878, Southwest Behavioral $71,250. These contracts will be for an initial term of twelve (12) months beginning April 1, 2025, thru March 31, 2026, with four (4) one (1) year options for renewal. Total expenditures under these contracts are anticipated to be $4,293,404 for the initial twelve (12) month term. Should funding expire and alternate funding not be available, Section 4.0 of the Contract, Availability of Funds, will apply, allowing for a change or termination of the contract. Funding for these contracts is from the Opioid Settlement Agreements and will not have any impact on General Funds. These contracts shall focus on four (4) key areas; Prevention and Education, Early Intervention and Treatment, Harm Reduction and Rescue, and Recovery and Resiliency using evidence based, evidence-informed, or promising programs and/or strategies to mitigate and treat Opioid Use Disorder. The contract term end date on all contracts shall be updated to March 31, 2027, and include an updated Scope of Work, Year (2) timeline, and Year (2) Renewal Form. Payment information on all contracts with the exception of University of Arizona, shall be updated to include clauses related to Funding Sources and Funding Sources Substitution. All other terms and conditions of the original contract and amendment shall remain in full force and effect. Funding for these contracts is from the Opioid Settlement Agreements and will not have any impact on General Funds.
