MARICOPA COUNTY WIOA LOCAL AREA PLAN MODIFICATIONS FOR PROGRAM YEARS 2020-2023 Approve the Maricopa County Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Area Plan Modifications for 2020-2023. Maricopa County, excluding the City of Phoenix, is the Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA) ARIZONA@WORK – Maricopa County, the workforce network of business and employment-related service providers for Maricopa County. In accordance with WIOA, the Local Area Plan Modifications must be approved by the Chief Elected Officials. The Maricopa County Local Area Plan is for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023. The Maricopa County Local Area Plan must be in place reflecting the current and projected needs of the workforce system consistent with the State plan. The Maricopa County Local Area Plan Modifications will be submitted to Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) to incorporate into the State Plan. Supervisory District: All (C-95-23-004-X-00)
