41. MARICOPA COUNTY WIOA LOCAL PLAN FOR PROGRAM YEARS 2025-2028 Approval for the following action regarding the Maricopa County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) as set forth below: 1. Approve the Maricopa County Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Plan for 2025-2028. Maricopa County, excluding the City of Phoenix, is the Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA) ARIZONA@WORK –, the workforce network of business and employment-related service providers for Maricopa County. In accordance with WIOA, the Local Plan must be approved by the Chief Elected Officials. The Maricopa County Local Plan is from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2028. The Maricopa County Local Plan must be in place to reflect the current and projected needs of the workforce system consistent with the State plan. The Maricopa County Local Plan will be submitted to the Workforce Arizona Council through the Arizona Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) to incorporate into the State Plan. (C-95-25-001-X-00)
