Please provide a detailed description of the initiative, including the public benefit, areas served, and population served (please attach separate page if more space is needed): Construct a softball field on property owned by the Gila Bend Unified School District. The property was previously used as a softball field, but most recently was used to store construction debris. This project will reconstruct the field, repair existing chain link fencing, repair the irrigation system, install new dugouts and bleachers and install lights and a scoreboard. The softball field will be available for use to the students of the Gila Bend Unified School District and the Gila Bend community. 10. Per an IGA, Gila Bend will be responsible for ongoing operation and maintenance of the ball field. 12, Please attach a budget proposal detailing the use of all funds. The budget proposal should include the account level detail for uses and estimated timeline. The budget proposal should be broken out by year for multi-year projects.
