amount, as | didn't hear that it was negotiated down. You will need to request the funds from Finance as they

RESOLUTION NO. 2290
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF WICKENBURG, ARIZONA, APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
PARCEL OFFER AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES IN THE TOWN FOR RIGHT-
OF-WAY PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE TOWN MANAGER AND TOWN ATTORNEY TO
ACQUIRE TITLE TO CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN BY TAX-DEEDED
LAND SALE, PLUS ACQUISITION AND CLOSING COSTS;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Town is interested in acquiring a property which is remnant
property from the Maricopa County Treasurers Office for the amount of not to exceed
$500.00; and
WHEREAS, the property will be used as town right-of-way as it is in the
middle of Hermosa Road and the land area consists of 479 square feet.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WICKENBURG, ARIZONA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Town Manager and Town Attorney are hereby authorized
and directed to acquire title to and possession of the real property identified as Maricopa
County Assessor Parcel 505-35-011A by Tax-Deeded Land Sale in the amount not to
exceed of $500.00, plus acquisition and closing costs.
SECTION 2. The Town Manager and Town Attorney are authorized to
perform all acts necessary to acquire said property for the purposes described in this
resolution on behalf of the Town and specifically authorizing the Town Manager to
execute such documents as are necessary to carry out the directions in this resolution.
SECTION 3. The immediate operation of the provisions of this Resolution
is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the Town of
Wickenburg and an emergency is hereby declared to exist. This Resolution shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage, adoption, and approval by the Mayor and
Common Council of the Town of Wickenburg.

directed to perform all acts necessary or desirable to give effect to this resolution.

holding a small auction of tax deeded land parcels. These are parcels that have
already been foreclosed upon by the Treasurer's office and conveyed to the State
of Arizona.
