Due to the world-wide pandemic impacting local school closures and in-person learning,
this program did not get implemented as originally planned. We would like to continue this
program for one additional year, through August 2022. Some program changes have occurred,
impacting the originally submitted budget request. We decided not to use external hard-drives
to store trail-camera footage and would like to purchase additional trail cameras and related
equipment with the unspent portion. This way 2 cameras can be used at each site if desired by
students in the program. Please see the included budget narrative below.

MCPRD was awarded $1938 from the AZFGD heritage grant for the purchase of the
program equipment. Only $1092.59 has been spent thus far. With the remaining balance of
$845.41 we would like to purchase 4 additional trail-cameras and related equipment to support
having the option of two cameras per site. Please note, product brands could be subject to
change due to MCPRD procurement policies and vendor inventory availability.
