RESOLUTION OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RATIFYING THE MOU AND ITS ADDENDUM BETWEEN
MCSO AND ARIZONA NATIONAL GUARD
COUNTERDRUG TASK FORCE (CDTF)
WHEREAS, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) has a continuing relationship with
the Arizona National Guard Counterdrug Task Force (CDTF) that was established in a non-financial
MOU initiated in October 2016 and amended in October 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, is authorized to enter into such
agreements and in the interest of community safety supports the basis of the MOU;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors hereby:
• Ratifies the MOU signed by MCSO October 27, 2016 and ratifies the Addendum to
the MOU signed by MCSO October 23, 2018.
• Authorizes the Maricopa County Sheriff, or his designee, to sign the FY 2021
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Review document that acknowledges terms
and conditions of the MOU are still applicable; and
• Authorizes the Maricopa County Sheriff, or his designee, to sign future MOU
annual acknowledgement documents pertaining to the terms of this MOU and its
addendum.
