AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR
THE USE OF THE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE RESOURCE CENTER
BETWEEN CITY OF PEORIA AND MARICOPA COUNTY
RECITALS
A. The CITY OF PEORIA, an Arizona municipal corporation in the County of Maricopa and
State of Arizona (“City” or “Owner”), and Maricopa County, a political subdivision of the
State of Arizona with an address of 301 W. Jefferson St., 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ,
85003, (“User”) (collectively, the “Parties” or individually a “Party”) are Parties to that
certain Revocable License Agreement For The Use Of The Community Assistance
Resource Center with an Effective Date of July 1, 2019 and amended June 10, 2020
(collectively, the “Agreement”). The Agreement is for use of the Property and Premises
previously defined and located at 8335 W. Jefferson Street, Peoria, AZ 85345.
B. The Term of the Agreement expires June 30, 2021.
C. The Parties now mutually desire to enter into this Amendment No. 2 (“Amendment”) to
extend the term of the agreement.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and other valuable consideration,
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, Lessee and Lessor agree to
amend the Agreement as follows:
1. The Recitals, by this reference, are hereby incorporated into this Amendment.
2. Capitalized terms used in this Amendment without definition shall have the meanings
assigned to such terms in the Agreement, unless the context expressly requires
otherwise.
3. The Agreement term is hereby extended two (2) years, to commence July 1, 2021 and
expire June 30, 2023, unless terminated earlier as provided for in the Agreement. This
Agreement as amended is subject to termination pursuant to A.R.S. §38-511, the
provisions of which are incorporated herein by this reference.
4. The Assistant County Manager for Maricopa County, and the Real Estate Director for
Maricopa County shall administer this Agreement for the User.
5. The effective date of this Amendment is the date of execution of both Parties.
6. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other
terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect.
