AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE
AGREEMENT WITH
TEMPE COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC FOR
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
I. Maricopa County (“County”), by and through its Human Services Department, and the
Tempe Community Action Agency, Inc. (TCAA) entered into a financial Agreement
(“Agreement”) to integrate the County’s workforce development system into TCAA’s
social and community service resource network. TCAA provides funds to the County for
program service delivery. The Agreement contains a Start Date of October 7, 2020, and
a Termination Date of June 30, 2021. The Agreement may be extended for two additional
one-year terms. The County and TCAA collectively are referred to as the “Parties”.
II. The Parties now agree to enter into this Amendment No. 1 (Renewal Term #1) to amend
the Agreement as follows:
A. Extend the Agreement term from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (“Renewal Term
#1”).
B. Add that the TCAA shall reimburse the County in not to exceed amounts of
$1,557.42 per month a total of $18,689 for the Renewal Term.
C. Replace Attachment A, which modifies the Itemized Service Budget for the
Renewal Term.
D. Upon approval of Amendment No. 1, one renewal term remains.
E. This Amendment No. 1 is subject to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511.
III. Section II above contains all the changes made by this Amendment No. 1. All other
terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the same and in full force and
effect as approved and amended.
IV. The Parties have authorized the undersigned to execute this Amendment No. 1 on
their behalf., and it shall be effective upon approval and signature by the Parties.
