Agenda Item Id: Item Title SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2016 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, AZLINK SUSTAINMENT AND ENHANCEMENT PROJECT C Number: C-50-17-044-G-00 Action Requested: Approve a Subgrantee Agreement and acceptance of up to $434,015 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2016 Homeland Security Grant Program, AZLink Sustainment and Enhancement Project #160205-01. The term of this award is October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. These grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. Board Required Information: The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2017 is 19.8%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $85,934.97. Approval of this Agreement and acceptance of funding will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase computer software modules, services and maintenance/support for the AZLink/CopLink Project. Additional Information: This project links data systems that will be used for Tactical Lead Generation & Analysis along with a query product that accesses multiple systems in one step and shares this capability across the state and with our federal partners and Border States. More than 60 law enforcement agencies are part of the AZLink program.
