ONE TIME ADDITIONS TO FLEET OF ABANDONED VEHICLES

Action Requested:
Approve three, onetime additions to fleet of abandoned vehicles for which the cases have been
completed. 1. One (1) 2004 car hauler trailer, VIN - AZ350406, valued at $2,500, with an estimated
annual operating cost of $1,000 to be used by the Sheriffs Impound Lot. 2. One (1) 2013 Pace box
trailer, VIN-AZ 40LF81017YP056954, valued at $4,000 with an estimated annual operating cost of $1,000
to be used by detectives in Sheriff's Office District III. 3. One (1) 2013 Lucas box trailer, VIN-A7338184,
to be used in Sheriff's Office District VI, valued at $4,000.
Combined annual operating expense ($3,000) plus the combined estimated one-time costs to restore
these items to road-safe standards ($3,750) will be absorbed within the Sheriff's Office (D500) General
Fund (100) operations.
These are one-time additions to fleet that will be retired at the end of useful life with no funding from
the General Fund for replacement.
