Dear Sheriff Penzone,
Alhambra My name is Lorenzo Cabrera and I am the proud principal of Franklin Police and Fire High
School. Here is a little history about us, when we first opened our doors in 2007 we were
Bioscience the first of our kind in the nation. And now that we have been in existence for over 10 year,
we have changed the hearts and minds of our students and our community. We could not
Bostrom have done this without the continued support and dedication of our community partners like
you. Our students aspire to become public safety officers and give back to our community.
Trevor G. Browne In fact a handful of Franklin graduates now serve as detention officers for MCSO.
Furthermore due to your commitment to our school through your community outreach
division, many of our students aspire to become detention officers because of the positive
Camelback relationships they have created with the individuals in that office.
Central It is due to your commitment and dedication to our school, students and community that lives
are being impacted and hearts changed.

As you are aware, our school focuses on law and fire education. A section of our law
Desiderata enforcement curriculum focuses on the importance of properly conducting felony arrest and
proper traffic stop. It is a vital to our program to provide enriched and meaningful real-life
Betty H. Fairfax learning experiences for our students. This is why I am requesting the use of one of your
vehicles to be housed at Franklin Police and Fire High School. This vehicle would not only
serve as an educational resource but also a vehicle to connect our community, parents and
Franklin neighbors with the positive changes being made within our community through your office.
Gifted & Talented Thank you so much for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
Carl Hayden Very Respectfully,
Maryvale
