Sealed plans, specifications, estimate and. bid schedule were submitted at that time. Stibsequently, MC.DOT approved the use of roundabouts at the 117''' Avenue and 109 1" Avenue intersections with DVR. In addition, mining activities have continued in the AFR changing the existing ground 'conditions. AZTEC was then tasked to provide Final Design Update with Roundabouts 'through a previous Work.Assigntnent. This previous scope of work included revising the original conStruction documents to incorporate the roundabouts and change in existing ground -conditions by adding new sheets and revising original sheets to meet current MCDOT standards. The 'current congfruction standard details were to be referenced in the plan. set. The .original plans were not to be changed if possible. The pre-30% and 30% submittals were made in accordance with this previous scope of work. The 60% submittal was enhanced to include the new and revised Sheets, and the original sheets at the request of MCDOT to provide a complete plan set for reference of the review team. Extensive comments were received on the combined plan set and several comment resolution meetings have been held, including a separate constructability review. The -95% and Sealed PS&E submittals. are pending ongoing Utility Coordination primarily concerning APS's .design of their joint trench. MCDOT has also requested an additional submittal of95% plans to the utilities labeled as the 60% resubmittal. MCDOT has also requested. that a- separate - allowance be included for a potential 100% submittal. A. separate cost - estimate has been developed for this allowance. Additional efforts ate required to complete- -the design based on the comments and. requests received to date andas fellows. 100 Project Management Additional meetings,. coordination and. administration are needed for the extended. design effort. A. Design Kick-Off Meeting is not required. No Design Criteria. or Design Exceptions will be developed. A maximum of six AZTEC staff members will attend six - Project Progress Meetings including preparing the. meeting notes. Field Walk with PrOject Main 18 not required, Project Administration will be performed including monthly invoices and progress reports for the extended duration of the design. 200 Data Acquisition. AZTEC will research, collect and review all additional available project data -. A. Site Visit for Project Research is not required, 300 Land Survey •MCDOT will perform the Land Survey (aerial mapping) effort including providing topographic files of all visible utilities, property _lines, and right-of-way for the entire -projed. 400 Project Coordination .A maximum of three AZTEC staff members will attend three Stakeholder Meetings including preparing the meeting notes. No additional Technical Advisory Committee or Stakeholder Advisory Committee. meetings are anticipated. The public- will be informed of the project by appropriate communication channels by MCD0'17. The 60% submittal included 314 .sheets and 146 cross - section sheets, for a total of 460 sheets. The previous Scope Of work included 84 sheets and 70 cross section sheets,. for a total of 154 sheets. The 60% submittal included 306 sheets in addition to the previous scope of work. New survey was provided by MCDOT to update the design for the change of AFR conditions due to the mining. It Was determined that the construction. centerline was not coincident with the calculated mid- section line. The original design files have been realigned and Mated. to Match the new siirvey and maintain the center portion of the design. The original alignment has been revised to the west and east as needed to meet design criteria and to tie into existing conditions. This impacts all of the - 202 plan sheets in. the 60% submittal, This also .requires revisions to the preliminary roundabout designs to -accommodate the revised .DVR alignment. The entire plan set will be updated due to this change and to incorporate the additional sheets in a logical Order. All 314 sheets in the 60% submittal will be reordered and renumbered for the 95% submittal.
