Contract No. C-22-17-023-3-03 Amendment 3 AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTERED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND SCOTTSDALE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Maricopa County by and through the Maricopa County Human Services Department (“County”) and Scottsdale Unified School District (“District”) entered into a financial Contract for Services (“Agreement”) for full service food catering to Head Start program participants for the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. Amendment No. 1 was executed on or about July 13, 2017 which increased funding for the term period. Amendment No. 2 was approved on October 4, 2017 to extend the term of the Agreement from September 30, 2017 to September 30, 2018. The County and the District may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.” The Parties now wish to amend the Agreement as follows: I. Increase funding amount beginning January 2, 2018 through September 30, 2018 in the amount of $148,190. The total funding for the Agreement shall be increased to $605,190 through September 30, 2018. II. The District shall provide meals to Head Start classrooms located on District’s school grounds and community based locations. III. Remove Section IV Compensation paragraph D MEAL COSTS in its entirety and substitute with updated meal numbers and costs per meals. D. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement as amended and approved remain the in full force and effect and as agreed to by the Parties. No other understanding, oral or otherwise, regarding the subject matter of the Agreement shall be deemed to exist or to bind any Party hereto. Nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as consent to any lawsuit or waiver of any defense in a lawsuit brought against the State of Arizona, County, or the District in any State or federal court. VI. This Amendment is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511.
