Contract No. C-22-16-026-3-01 Amendment 1 AMENDMENT No. 1 TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTERED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND CITY OF SCOTTSDALE I. Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department and the City of Scottsdale (“City”) entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) on or about February 17, 2016. The Agreement effective date is July 1, 2015 through February 17, 2018. The County provided the City $206,420 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide single family housing rehabilitation/reconstruction. The County and the City may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.” II. The Parties wish to amend the Agreement as follows: A. Extend the contract termination date of the Agreement from February 17, 2018 to September 30, 2020. Extending the contract termination date of the Agreement will provide the City with additional time to complete the scope of work. By doing so, the Parties also agree that all work performed or costs incurred or expended under the scope of work remain reimbursable under the terms of the Agreement. B. Replace the existing Section III, Work Statement associated with housing rehabilitation/reconstruction with a new Section III, Work Statement associated with single family housing rehabilitation/rental and attached to this Amendment as Exhibit A. III. This Amendment is subject to A.R.S. §38-511. IV. The foregoing paragraphs, contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain the same and in full force and effect as approved and amended.
