AMENDMENT TO LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF REAL PROPERTY
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY, (“LICENSEE”)
AND
CITY OF PHOENIX, (“LICENSOR”)
RECITALS
A. Licensor and Licensee are parties to that certain License Agreement No. P-50189 approved
by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on August 31, 2011 and subsequently
amended October 31, 2012, December 11, 2013, November 5, 2014, November 4, 2015,
and November 2, 2016, which amendment was rescinded December 7, 2016 and replaced
with another amendment also on December 7, 2016 (the “License”). The License is for
access to and use of Property or Properties as defined in the License Agreement.
B. The term of the License expires December 31, 2017.
C. Licensor and Licensee now mutually desire to extend the term for one (1) additional four
(4) year term.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing mutual promises contained herein
and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and adequacy of which the
parties acknowledge Licensor and Licensee agree to amend License No. P-50189 as
follows:
1. The term of the License is hereby extended four (4) years, to commence January 1, 2018,
and expire December 31, 2021. This Agreement is subject to termination pursuant to the
provisions of A.R.S. §38-511.
2. The effective date of this amendment is the date of execution by the Maricopa County
Board of Supervisors.
3. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this amendment. All other terms
and conditions of the original agreement and subsequent amendments thereto remain the
same and in full force and effect.
