Jefferson, 10th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona, convened in Informal Session at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2017, in the Supervisors’/Sullivan Conference Room, 301 W. Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Denny Barney, Chairman, District 1; Steve Chucri, Vice Chairman, District 2 (entered late); Bill Gates, District 3; Clint Hickman, District 4; Steve Gallardo, District 5 (entered late). Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Joy Rich, County Manager; and Michelle Wood, Legal Counsel. Minutes complied by Maria Ceaglske, Minutes Coordinator. 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider items on the Executive Agenda dated May 8, 2017, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to statutory authority listed for each item. Motion to convene in Executive Session for the items listed on the agenda and that the Clerk would note that we will convene jointly as the Board of Supervisors and the Flood Control District Board for items 5 and F-2 by Supervisor Hickman, seconded by Supervisor Gates Ayes: Barney, Gates, Hickman Absent: Chucri, Gallardo ~ Supervisors Chucri and Gallardo entered the Executive Session during item #1 ~ MEETING ADJOURNED After discussion on the executive items and there being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. _______________________________ Denny Barney, Chairman of the Board ATTEST _____________________________ Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board
