EXHIBIT A – SCOPE OF WORK
1. PURPOSE
This IGA is to provide services to un/under-employed parent(s) with a minimum of one dependent
child under the age of 13 to remove barriers in order for them to attend occupational skills training
in H-1B occupations. It strengthens the Human Centered Design model which emphasizes a
program model built around the participant’s needs and interests. This model creates a co-case
management system which coordinates services between multiple partner agencies who serve
the same person. This partnerships’ ultimate purpose is to prepare working parent(s) the post-
secondary credentials necessary for unsubsidized employment in an Arizona targeted H-1B
industry sector. Specifically, this partnership will enable SWFI participants to obtain a credential
in one of three sectors: Healthcare, Information Technology and Financial Services and secure
employment in these fields.
