Action Requested:
Approve, and authorize the Deputy County Manager to execute, a first amendment (Amendment
No. 1) to the temporary license agreement T-20075 (“Agreement”) between the County and The
Nature Conservancy which Amendment No. 1 extends the license agreement through April 30,
2017, unless terminated earlier as provided for in the Agreement.
Board required information:
The Agreement was entered into with a 30-day term. Amendment No. 1 will allow the
parties additional time to resolve outstanding issues regarding the long-term oversight,
management and ownership of the Hassayampa River Preserve.
