This Amendment No. 1 (“Amendment”) to the Revocable License Agreement
(“Agreement”) T-20075 by and between The Nature Conservancy, a District of Columbia non-
profit corporation doing business by and through its Arizona Program (“Licensor”) and Maricopa
County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona (“Licensee”), effective as of February 1,
2017, is made and entered into by and between Licensor and Licensee, sometimes collectively
hereinafter referred to as the “Parties.”
RECITALS
A. The Agreement is for use, management and oversight of Licensor’s property known as
the Hassayampa River Preserve.
B. The term of the Agreement expires on February 2, 2017.
C. The Parties now mutually desire to amend the Agreement to extend the term.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Licensor and
Licensee agree to amend Agreement T-20075 as follows:
1. The term of the Agreement is hereby extended to April 30, 2017. This Agreement, as
amended by this Amendment, is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of
A.R.S. §38-511.
2. Upon full execution of this Amendment, the effective date of this Amendment is
February 1, 2017.
3. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other
terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect.
