Anna Huberman October 20th, 2026 Maricopa County Board of Supervisors 301 W. Jefferson, 10th floor’ Phoenix, AZ 85003 Subject: Letter of Resignation Due to Retirement Dear Chair and Members of the Board of Supervisors: Please accept this letter as formal notice of my retirement from my position as Justice of the Peace for the Country Meadows Justice Court, effective November 30, 2026. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Maricopa County for over 29 years. I dedicated more than15 years to working for the County as a Court Interpreter before being given the opportunity to serve for an additional 14 years as Justice of the Peace. These years have been both meaningful and rewarding, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the residents of our county. Throughout my years of service, I have gained valuable experiences, built lasting relationships, and developed a deep appreciation for the responsibility and trust placed in me. Serving as Justice of the Peace, four of them as the Presider, has been a particularly meaningful chapter of my career, and I am proud to have contributed to the community in this capacity. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the county leadership, my colleagues, and the residents of Maricopa County for their support, cooperation, and confidence throughout my years of service. It has been a privilege to work alongside so many dedicated individuals who share a commitment to serving our community. As I enter this next chapter of my life, I do so with gratitude for the experiences and memories I will carry with me. I will always value the opportunity I have had to serve this county and its people. Thank you for the trust and opportunity provided over these past 29 years. I wish Maricopa County and the Justice Courts, their leadership, employees, and residents continued success in the years to come. Respectfully, Anna Huberman Country Meadows Justice of the Peace
