ACTION SUMMARY OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HELD February 12, 2026, at approximately 2:30 pm. Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice is hereby given that an emergency session of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was held February 12, 2026, at approximately 2:30 pm at 301 W. Jefferson — 10" floor, Phoenix, AZ, 85003. The meeting was held with members attending either telephonically or in person. The meeting was held with the following members attending: Kate Brophy McGee, Chair, District 3; Debbie Lesko, Vice-Chair, District 4; Mark Stewart, Supervisor, District 1, (remote); Thomas Galvin, Supervisor, District 2, (remote); Steve Gallardo, Supervisor, District 5 (remote). Also, present were: Juanita Garza, Clerk of the Board; Jen Pokorski, County Manager; Brooke Worcester, Legal Counsel; Tom Liddy, Civil Division Chief and Joseph La Rue, Deputy County Attorney. Additional Attendees: Kory Langhofer, Outside Counsel, Statecraft PLLC; Jason Berry, Communications Director. Brooke Worcester, Legal Counsel, stated that the emergency was due to the need to receive legal advice regarding new information received the morning of February 12, 2026 requiring direction from the Board regarding election administration. Vice Chair Lesko, made a motion for the Board to convene in Executive Session. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Stewart. Motion carried unanimously: Ayes: Brophy McGee, Lesko, Stewart, Galvin and Gallardo, At the emergency Executive session the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors considered legal advice relating to Board authority and responsibilities regarding election administration. After being briefed in Executive Session, the meeting was adjourned. There was no further action taken at this meeting.
