FY26 BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTIONS

Action Requested: 
In accordance with A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the following adjustments to the FY 2026 budget: 
1. Increase the expenditure authority in the Elections (D210) General Fund (100) Operating 
(OPER) budget by $30,426. 
2. Decrease the expenditure authority in Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Operating 
(OPER) budget in the line “Unreserved Contingency” (4711) by $30,426. 
In addition, direct the Budget Office to make the following adjustments to the FY 2027 Baseline 
Operating budget to support the annualized position costs: 
3. Increase the expenditure authority in the Elections (D210) General Fund (100) Operating 
(OPER) budget by $92,634. 
4. Decrease the expenditure authority in Non Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Operating 
(OPER) budget in the line “Unreserved Contingency” (4711) by $92,634.
This action will have a net zero impact on the overall County budget. 
Additional Information: 
The Constituent Services Coordinator will work to ensure stakeholders in the community are 
informed about the voting process. In partnership with Candidate Services, this position will assist 
in communicating with elected officials and political action committees regarding deadlines and 
responsibilities related to financial reporting.
