Award Agreement

Humane World for Animals (Humane World”) approves an award to the recipient (“Attendee”) for coverage of
Attendee’s Animal Care Expo 2026 full conference registration including a Learning Lab ($385), hotel stay for
up to four nights and round-trip airfare (up to $500), which is made under the terms and conditions set forth in
this agreement.

As a condition of the award, Attendee agrees as follows:

Attendee Representations: Attendee confirms that they work or volunteer for either (a) an
organization that is currently recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (the “IRS”) as a public charity
under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; or (b) a municipal agency authorized to accept
grants from non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations. Attendee will inform Humane World immediately of any
change in, or IRS proposed or actual revocation (whether appealed) of their organization’s tax status
described above.

. Award Purpose: Pursuant to its charitable mission, Humane World seeks to advance the cause of

animal protection by encouraging the professional development and continuing education of employees
and volunteers of animal shelters, rescue groups, and others in animal welfare. To that end, Attendee
agrees to use the award solely for the purpose of attending Humane World’s Animal Care Expo in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania April 7-10, 2026 (“Expo”). This award is provided to Attendee for this specific
purpose and is non-transferrable. Attendee shall not use the award for any other purpose unless prior
written approval has been received from Humane World.

Award Coverage Details (“Travel and Hotel Benefits”): Attendee shall have one (1) year from the
date of award approval to use the award in accordance with the terms of this agreement (the “Award
Period”). No monetary funds will be directly disbursed to Attendee. Instead, the award will cover
specific Travel and Hotel Benefits as follows:

a. Expo Registration: Attendee shall register for Expo using the complimentary code provided in
the award approval email.

b. Hotel Accommodations: Attendee shall book their hotel using the link provided in the award
approval email so they can be added to the Humane World master rooming list. Attendee is
responsible for any additional room nights not covered by the award. Attendee is responsible for
all incidental charges. The hotel will require Attendee to provide a credit card at check-in, and a
hold may be placed on the card according to hotel policy for incidental charges (e.g., room
service, parking).

c. Air Travel: Attendee shall book air travel using the link and instructions provided in the award
approval email, allowing airfare to be billed directly to Humane World.

If Attendee books hotel or airfare outside of the process outlined above, or if there are additional
expenses associated with travel (e.g. mileage), such costs will not be reimbursed by Humane World.
Unless the Attendee is local and does not require hotel accommodations, they must stay within the
Humane World hotel room block.

Use of Travel and Hotel Benefits: The award provided shall be used exclusively for the purpose
stated in Paragraphs 2 and 3, specifically covering air travel and hotel accommodations for Expo and
related activities. Attendee shall not engage in any activity on behalf of the Humane World that may
jeopardize Humane World’s status as a nonprofit charity qualified to receive tax-deductible
contributions under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Without limiting the generality of
the preceding sentence, the Travel and Hotel Benefits provided under this award shall not be used to:
