Purolite is pleased to present our proposal for your lon Exchange Resin requirements.
Purolite has 40 years’ experience in lon Exchange technologies and can provide the
following benefits:

e Turn-key Service. Purolite will provide on-site ion exchange resin services;
resin extraction, exhausted resin transport, resin regeneration or disposal,
resin loading, technical support and a full line of quality lon Exchange Resins.

« Responsible Management of your waste. Purolite can provide the stability,
resources and experience to address your long-term requirements for all
your lon Exchange applications.

Scope of Work

Purolite will perform the following scope of work for the removal of spent resin,
regeneration, return of your exhausted non-hazardous ArsenXnp Resin and any
replacement with FerrlX A33E for resin lost during regeneration.

The time frame is estimated at four to five weeks from receipt of your Purchase Order,
agreed upon terms and conditions and extraction of media.

© Pricing is $327.38 per cubic foot ($65,476.84) based on 200 cu ft of regenerated
media.

¢ = If virgin FerrlX A33E resin is required to top off the resin bed, it will be charged at
$407.49/cu ft.

Bypass units lock out/tag out. City of El Mirage

Drain vessel of all water 2-3 days before scheduled service City of El Mirage
Vacuum exhausted resin into super sacks.

Inspect screens, tank lining and gaskets Purolite

Power wash and clean interior walls of vessels

Transport exhausted resin to authorized regeneration facility

Regenerate ArsenXnp Resin and transport back to City of El Mirage Water
Treatment Facility

Disinfect vessel City of El Mirage

Fill vessels with your regenerated ArsenXnp Resin

Rinse and backwash regenerated resin

Ensure site is clean and free of service equipment and debris

Water Sampling for ADEQ is the responsibility of City of El Mirage
Remove locks and return units to service City of El Mirage

Additional Services and Information:

Regeneration pricing is based on non-hazardous exhausted resin

Confined space labor to enter vessels for power washing is included

Virgin Ferrix Resin is available for topping off the vessel at {initial fill was 225
cubic feet) Pricing is $407.49 per cubic foot plus tax. Freight is included.

City of El Mirage to provide the following;

Labor to break up solidified filter media, if any
Materials and labor to repair internals of filters.

Typical Site Criteria/Conditions:

Ability to get service equipment within short distance of vessels to be
serviced.

Resin transport truck to have close access to the vessel(s) to be serviced.
Exhausted resin is to be free flowing. Should the exhausted resin bed be
heavily calcified and must be broken up manually for removal, extra labor
charges may be required.

4. Vessel(s) must be drained of all water 2-3 days prior to scheduled service.

Additional charges will apply for standby time or remobilization should vessel(s)
be full of water when service crew and equipment arrive for scheduled service.
Availability of electricity, potable water, lighting, ladders or scaffolding to access
the vessel and drainage.

Service is normally performed during normal operating hours of Monday

Friday work week. If additional time is required, overtime is charged and
customer is advised of number of hours and charges prior to work performed.

Clarifications

Please note that the above price does not include any applicable taxes or
permits. As this is a service project, typically there is no sales tax on
regenerations services. Pricing is firm through May 31, 2021.

Super sacks will be unlined to allow drainage of excess water.

BACT and Arsenic sampling and testing is not included in this bid. Purolite can
assist or provide this service once the sampling protocol for the City of El Mirage
is defined. Typically, the owner performs this service.

Pricing is based on two (2) one day trips. One day to extract and one day to
install the regenerated media. Additional trips required by the City of El Mirage
due to delays or issues not in the control of Purolite may require additional
charges for mobilization of personnel and equipment.

service, lower overall costs and proper management of your long-term treatment

needs.
