RESOLUTION R21-03-06 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL 
MIRAGE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AMENDING CITY CODE 
CHAPTER 110: LICENSES  
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to update specific areas of City Code Chapter 110:  
LICENSES to implement new business licensing practices; and  
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to require business licenses for businesses located within the 
city limits; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to remove the dollar amount of fees listed in the ordinance and 
establish or change fees as necessary through the annual budget fee schedule analysis; and 
 
WHEREAS, the City wishes to comply with current state law regarding background 
investigations and handling of applicant fingerprinting;  
 
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the city of El Mirage, 
Arizona, as follows: 
Section 1. 
That the El Mirage City Code, Chapter 110: LICENSES is amended as noted. 
Section 2. 
That the amendments to the El Mirage City Code, Chapter 110: LICENSES are  
 
 
adopted and made a part of this Resolution as set forth in the attached Exhibit “A.”
