RESOLUTION R21-03-05 
 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY OF EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE 
ADOPTION OF CITY COUNCIL STRATEGIC PRIORITIES 
WHEREAS, the City of El Mirage held an annual planning workshop to discuss City 
priorities, define goals and set objectives; and, 
WHEREAS, these goals and objectives publicly identify the priority focus of the City of 
El Mirage’s staff and resources, and enable the public to measure the City’s success in 
accomplishing its major policy goals; and, 
WHEREAS, the strategic priorities for calendar year 2021 & 2022 can be summarized 
into the following categories: Commercial Revitalization; Community Engagement; Image 
Enhancement; and Infrastructure. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of El 
Mirage: 
1. Adopts the attached City Council Strategic Priorities. 
 
2. Authorizes and directs the City Manager to take all necessary actions to implement 
the 2021 and 2022 goals and objectives.
