RESOLUTION R21-05-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA, PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR, VICE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section § 32.005 of the City Code of the City of El Mirage (the "City"), the compensation of elective officers of the City shall be fixed from time to time by resolution of the Council; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage (the "City Council") desire to provide for the compensation for the Mayor, Vice Mayor and Council Members as proposed by the Compensation Study; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of El Mirage as follows: Section 1. The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein. Section 2. Effective on and after December 6, 2022, the compensation of City Council shall be as follows: Mayor $32,240 per year Vice Mayor $23,782 per year Council Member $22,879 per year. Section 3. The City Manager, City Clerk and City Attorney are hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
