RESOLUTION R21-04-10

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE, ARIZONA, PROVIDING FOR THE
COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR, VICE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE,

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section § 32.005 of the City Code of the City of El Mirage
(the "City"), the compensation of elective officers of the City shall be fixed from time to time
by resolution of the Council; and,

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of El Mirage (the "City Council")
desire to provide for the compensation for the Mayor, Vice Mayor and Council Members as
proposed by the Compensation Study; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of El
Mirage as follows:

Section 1. The recitals above are hereby incorporated as if fully set forth herein.

Section 2. Effective on and after December 6, 2022, the compensation of City Council
shall be as follows:

Mayor $32,240 per year - 21627 pon month + 4457
Vice Mayor $23,782 per year 1,462 & +4 ae
Council Member $22,879 per year \4oT wot 4a 4127

Section 3. The City Manager, City Clerk and City Attorney are hereby authorized and
directed to take all steps necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of this Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. R06-10-27

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE,
ARIZONA, ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR, VICE-MAYOR AND
COUNCIL MEMBERS.

WHEREAS, Section 2-1-5 of the El Mirage City Code prescribes that the salaries
of the Mayor and Council Members may be established by the City Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of El
Mirage, Arizona, as follows:

Section1. Setting of Salaries

The salaries for the Mayor, Vice-Mayor and Council Members are hereby
established as follows:

Mayor: $2,230.00 per month
Vice Mayor: $1,260.00 per month
Council Members: $1,170.00 per month

Section 2. City of El Mirage Group Benefits Program

The Mayor, Vice Mayor and Council Members shall receive the City's Group
Insurance Benefits Program.

Section3. Effective Date

This resolution will take effect on December 1, 2006.

RESOLUTION NO. R99-07-19

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL

MIRAGE, ARIZONA, ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR, VICE-
MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS,

WHEREAS, Section 2-1-5 of the El Mirage City Code prescribes that the salaries of the
Mayor and Council members may be established by the City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of El Mirage,
Arizona, as follows:

Section 1. Setting of Salaries

The salaries for the Mayor, Vice-Mayor and Council members are hereby established as
follows:

Mayor: $600.00 per month
Vice-Mayor: $500.00 per month
Council members: $400.00 per month

These salaries shall be automatically increased on July 1 of each year beginning on July
1, 2000, to reflect the most recent change in the Consumer Price Index applicable to the
Phoenix metropolitan area, as calculated by the U.S, Department of Labor or other applicable

government agency. Any increase in excess of the change in the Consumer Price Index shall be
submitted to the voters for approval.

Section 2. Effective Date

This resolution will take effect on July 1, 1999.

RESOLUTION NO. R94-06-16

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL MIRAGE,

ARIZONA, SETTING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL TO TAKE
EFFECT ON JUNE 6, 1994,

WHEREAS the Mayor and Council wishes to raise the compensation of the Mayor and
Councilmembers; and

WHEREAS the Mayor and Council can fix from time to time by resolution the
compensation of the Mayor and Councilmembers as per Sections 2-1-5 and
2-2-7 of that document known as " The City Code of the City of El
Mirage"; and

WHEREAS The Mayor and Council hereby fixes the compensation of the Mayor and Council
as follows:

. A. The Mayors monthly compensation is fixed at $300.00.
B. The Councilmembers monthly compensation is fixed at $200.00.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council has fixed the salaries of the
Mayor and Councilmembers on this 6th day of June, 1994,

for his duties ag such as follows: Twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each
regular meeting of the Common Council attended go long as the regular

for each such member shall be so prorated that full attendance at each

Section 3s Whereas, the immediate operation of the provisions of
this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect frow and after its passage
and adoption by the sald Common Council, approval by the Mayor, and
posting as required by laws

Passed and adopted by the Gommon Council of the Town of EL Mirage,

this 4th day of May, 1964.
