DBA Construction excludes the following; any additional engineering and/or design work, cost of any necessary City of El 
Mirage permits, to include but not be limited to  following, design & development fees, right of way, engineering, 
construction, building, grading & drainage permits

* 18” HDPE Storm Drain Pipe to be ADS HP Storm Pipe.  MAG 740 & MAG 738 Compliant. (Includes 18" Waterstop Gaskets at 
pipe joints.)
**Dry Well is quoted as a Double Barrel Drywell with the following;   75' estimated depth, 18' secondary chamber, 8" drainage 
components, 30" lid, & approx. 6 CY 1 sack ABC slurry.  10' Primary settling chamber, 4: crossover @ 4' inv. & a 30" open grid 
grate/cover.  Inclusions - 10' penetration into permeable soil,  chemical absorbent pillow, data sheets.  The following 
additional charges or deductions due to potential variance in 75' estimated depth are;  $77.60 per LF of additional depth up 
to 120' & -$23.35 per LF of depth less than the estimated 75'. 
*** Maxwell Plus Drywell Alternate pricing is for  "The MaxWell Plus Drainage System by Torrent Resources" per plan sheet 4 
of 5.
Line Item #20 - 1/4" Screened Decomposed Granite is bid as "Madison Gold".  According to DBA Constructions contacts 
"Desert Gold" is not currently/no longer available.
National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits (Project Size < 1 AC), 401 & 404 permits, haul permits (Haul 
off < 500 CY), etc. are excluded.  
Pavement marking obliteration, and re striping and /or any seal coating of the asphaltic pavement replacement is excluded.
 With the exception of the 2" waterline and the irrigation lateral shown on plans and included as Line Items #22 thru 24 and 
Line Item #26 any and all costs associated with adjustment, shoring and.or relocation of any other conflicting utility is 
excluded.
Costs for message boards, project information signs, public information/outreach, door hangers/flyers, off hour site security 
personnel, etc. are excluded. 
Clarifications
Our proposal requires further clarification on these points in order to be considered:
Line Item #27 - Quality Control Materials Testing (Allowance) has been added and will be billed on a cost plus allowable mark-
up basis for testing services as needed and/or requested by the City.  (Independent Testing Lab invoices will be provided to 
the City with payment applications.)
Exclusions
Our proposal excludes the following items and were not considered during the preparation to this estimate:
Line Item #2 - Traffic Control Pricing is based on a full closure of 1st Avenue at the north end of the cul de sac. 
Assumptions
Our proposal is based on the assumption that the following conditions exist on the project site:
Access to site to be provided for crews and equipment. 
All scheduling contingent upon mutual agreement of DBA Construction and owner. 
Taxes and bonds are included.  Maricopa County Dust Control Permit is included.
