In January 2023, a drainage memorandum and a proposed storm drain design were completed to remediate the drainage issues in the area. The City received a fee proposal for construction services which exceeded the project’s construction budget by $240,000. Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), roadway excavation and pavement cost have significantly increased for the last few months. This request is to increase the FY25 budget for construction by this amount plus $10,000 for unforeseen costs for a total of $250,000. As to date, $60,000 has been spent for design.
