Wayland, 59 Ariz. 340, approve a Quit Claim Deed to the City of Chandler for a portion of road right-of-way that was annexed by the City of Chandler in 1970. The developer is requesting a deed clarifying ownership. In addition, direct the Clerk of the Board to record the Board of Supervisors approved Quit Claim Deed clarifying the previous transfer of right-of-way to City of Chandler. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Gorman is developing land identified as Assessor Parcel 303-02-997 and owned by the City of Chandler for an affordable housing project. The property includes an area that was dedicated to the County in 1934 and subsequently annexed by Chandler in 1970. There are concerns that the old county right of way deed may still encumber the development property. The County wishes to formally convey all rights it may have to the City of Chandler to remove all county rights, if any, from encumbering the development property.
