2025 Stormwater Pollution Prevention Poster Contest Stormwater Runoff is a Leading Cause of Water Pollution in the U.S. • To meet permit requirements for public participation and outreach and to bring awareness to stormwater pollution, we have conducted a poster contest for the last 16 years. • Over the last year, 3rd _ 6th grade students in Maricopa County were encouraged to submit posters supporting the stormwater pollution prevention message. My Invention for Stormwater Pollution Prevention! • 554 entries • 25 schools • Voted on by department employees based on art style, originality, and how well they convey the above message. • Two categories: 3rd/4th grade & 5th/6th grade • Winners are featured in the calendar and receive an award certificate and prizes from our sponsors.
