MAIL BALLOT ELECTION APPROVAL REQUEST
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
NEW MAGMA IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE DISTRICT

In accordance with the provisions of A.R.S. §16-558(A), the governing body of New Magma
Irrigation & Drainage District does hereby request approval from the Board of Supervisors of

Maricopa & Pinal Counties for a mail ballot election to held in and for the District on

November 11, 2025.

NEW MAGMA IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given to all qualified electors of the above District that an election, to fill
two (2) vacancies on the Board of Directors created by the expiration of the three (3)-year
terms of JOHN O. NEVITT and MARK SCHNEPF, will be held on November 11, 2025.

To vote in this election, a qualified elector must own real property located within the
District’s taxable boundaries at least 90 days prior (August 13, 2025) to the election.

Persons desiring to become a candidate for the position may obtain Nomination Petitions
and Nomination Papers from:

New Magma Irrigation & Drainage District

San Tan Valley, Arizona 85140

In order for a person’s name to appear on the Ballot, Nomination Petitions and Nomination
Papers must be received no later than July 14, 2025, by 3:00 PM at:

Voters may, at time of election, write in a candidate’s name of their choosing who has not
submitted a timely Nomination Petition but who has submitted a Nomination Paper to the

NOTICE OF ELECTION

NEW MAGMA IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE DISTRICT

The Board ofDirectors of the New Magma Irrigation & Drainage District does hereby
give notice that it will hold an election to fill the expiring terms oftwo directors. The
election will be held on November 11, 2025, Tuesday.

Ballots will be mailed to each landowner of record between October 15, 2025,
and October 27, 2025.

The deadline for physicalreturn of the ballot is 6:00 pm, on November 11, 2025,
Tuesday. Ballots must be postmarked no later than November 7, 2025, and
received by the District on November 11, 2025, to be counted. The locationto return
the ballots is the District office at 34630 North Schnepf Road, San Tan Valley,

Arizona 85140.

You may obtain a replacement ballot ifa ballot is destroyed, lost, spoiled or not
received by the District by presenting yourself at the District office and making
an affidavit that the ballot has been destroyed, lost, spoiled or not received, and you
will be given a new ballot. This must be done no later than 6:00 pm, on November

11, 2025, Tuesday.

To be an elector at this election, you must have been a property owner for at least
90 days prior to the election (August 13, 2025), and you must be over 18 years of
age and a resident of the United States. If the land is held in the name ofa
corporation, a partnership, or a limited liability company, those entities must
designate in writing the officer or partner who is authorized to cast the vote of the
entity owning the land, and that designation must be submitted to the District by
October 12, 2025. If the land is held in trust, the District must be notified ofthe
name ofthe trustee by October 12, 2025,
